APRIL 2023 NEWSLETTER

Dear Friend,

We are thrilled to announce that Celebrity Wait Night is Sold Out!

After three years of waiting, we are counting down the days to April 24. We will see 500+ of you at 6:00 pm at the Docks in downtown Toledo.

Our thanks go out to everyone who reserved seats and to those who sent their regrets with contributions. You all help us keep the lights of hope burning at Bethany House.

Bethany House services are survivor-centered and survivor-led. That means shelter participants set their own goals and Bethany House advocates connect them to community resources and services that will help them meet those goals. While they stay with us, community members and groups provide their daily necessities so they can focus on rebuilding financial stability.

Recently, in connection with Amazon Smile’s end, our Amazon charity wish list disappeared. We have not yet found a list that allows us to keep our address safely confidential while giving full access to the wide variety of products used in the shelter. The link below will take you to an online list we hope will grow in the coming months.

In the meantime, we trust you will help us provide the dignity of choice and security of trusted brands in the Bethany Shoppe. If you can purchase any of the items from the Current Needs list below and meet a staff member to deliver the items, please reach out to volunteer@bethanyhousetoledo.org. We are so grateful for your help in bridging this gap.
