Dear Friend,

This November, we have so much to be thankful for at Bethany House. Thanks to Bethany House supporters, last month’s events were a success. Did you know it takes more than 70 volunteers to present the Northwest Ohio Silent Witness Project Unveiling Ceremony? This meaningful event would not be possible each year without incredible support from the community. We are honored to be the stewards of the Northwest Ohio Silent Witness Project and grateful to the Steinem Sisters Collection at the Toledo Lucas County Main Library for hosting the event this year.

A huge THANK YOU goes out to everyone who participated in The Chop House’s fundraiser for Bethany House. Altogether, $600.00 was raised for Bethany House in one evening! Thank you, Marcus and staff at The Chop House, for your amazing generosity.

It takes more than $500,000 to provide shelter and advocacy to Bethany House participants each year. In addition to financial contributions, we rely on your donations of household and personal care supplies to provide for the families in our care. This month, we are joining forces with our Homeless Services Partners, the Aurora Project, Family House, and La Posada, to gather household supplies needed at all four of our shelters.

Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week begins this Saturday, November 12. To kick off the national awareness campaign, we need your help to fill a semi truck with donations. You will find us in the Franklin Park Mall parking lot off Sylvania Avenue near Old Navy.

A printable flyer is included below. Please help us spread the word by sharing flyers today and encourage others to give! Bethany House staff and volunteers will be there to receive your donations. We look forward to seeing you this Saturday between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

On behalf of Bethany House Staff, Board, and Volunteers,
Thank you for your faith in Bethany House and survivors of domestic violence.
